In-House Training
We have our own NGO, the (MSFD) which gives continuous training not only for our own staff but also for the staff of other schools and the Ministry.

Injaz Al Arab
(Junior Achievements)

Since 2010 Haddah Valley has taught the Injaz Programme which includes 9 million students from all over the world. In 2010 Haddah Valley was chosen to represent Yemen in Morocco and won first place for best marketing and came second in the overall competition. Injaz Al Arab is now holding national competitions on a yearly basis in Yemen.

Cambridge International Examinations
Haddah Valley Junior High School has been accepted as Examination Centre attached to the British Council.

There are over 8,000 registered Cambridge Centres in more than 150 countries. We have been chosen to join a Cambridge educational network renowned for providing quality assessments with international value. Becoming a Cambridge Centre is our way of showing our commitment to excellence in education.

We use the UK examinations in Key Stage1 (2nd Grade) and Keystage 2, (6th Grade) and Checkpoint Exams in Grade 8 which are sent to the UK to be marked by Cambridge at International Standards.

Cambridge IGCSE is the world's most popular international curriculum for 14-16 year olds, leading to a globally recognised Cambridge IGCSE qualifications. Any student who takes 7 IGCSE subject will earn an ICE Certificate which is recognised world-wide.

INJAZ AL-ARAB
6 students from Haddah Valley and 5 from various other school have formed a company under the auspices of INJAZ Al-Arab to be presented at the “World Economic Forum” in October. This opportunity will not only strengthen their education and financial literacy, but will give them a broader vision of the business world, empowering them with skills to reach their true potential.

The Junior Achievement (INJAZ) programme (which includes 9 million students worldwide) will now be taught in Haddah Valley School starting from 2010 from 8th Grade upwards as part of our curriculum.

SPRINGBOARD
Haddah Valley Junior High School in partnership with the British Council now trains women for the Springboard Programme. Our teaching staff have been trained in the Springboard Programme.

Springboard is a women’s development programme designed especially for women and has won many international awards. It enables women to achieve greater recognition and influence and to fulfill their potentials in both their work and personal lives.

The programme consists of five major components:

  1. Four workshops; the participants should attend them all.
  2. A special Workbook packed with practical activities and ideas.
  3. Positive role models; there will be a guest speaker on each workshop who will share with the participants her success story.
  4. Support backup.
  5. Networking with other women.

Scholarship
Miss Ranya Al-Shadhly, our ninth grade student was one of the winners of a two year scholarship to the United World Colleges (UWC) in Norway this year through the British Council.

In-House Training
We have continuous training workshops for all our teaching staff starting from KG up till 12 grade. Our secondary teachers take training on-line with Cambridge. The improvement of teaching skills and methods remains to be one of our top priorities.
